Yes, we all need to help. Our community, Wellfleet, feels especially close to Haiti, and this morning we received instructions from Partners in Health, asking that we spread the word, if unable to contribute. At times like these, I feel really angry at Al Qaeda, and the Taliban, with their guns, and bombs, and plans to kill innocent people in the name of religion. How much better it would be to put that fervor into helping in Haiti, for instance, rather than creating more destruction.
